IT Application Expert & Project Manager


The IT Application Expert & Project Manager is an HQ-based Operational role.
IT Application Expert & Project Manager is primarily responsible for operation, support and continuous improvement of his/her application domain of expertise, he/she leads and manages projects within his/her application portfolio closely partnering with the respective business application owner and other IT delivery teams. He/she is in charge of documentation management in his/her area and its alignment with corporate policies.
He/she is responsible for complying with the committed project budget, timelines and quality requirements as well as with the overall IT strategy .
He/she performs other tasks under the direction of the manager within the agreed type of work.


In charge of delivery and IT administration of Industrial Operation and Supply Chain oriented solutions (S&OP E2E processes - demand planning, forecasting, Master product schedule, Line scheduling, Out of stock alerts, Sale through data processing, Order taking) with all needed functionalities that support business process improvements.
Contribute to the definition & communication of the lifecycle management roadmaps of all owned solutions, taking into account business needs, technology evolution and cost optimization.
Maintain Business and vendors partnership from global perspective and participate as needed in vendor user group meetings to influence vendor solution’s roadmap
Assist in monitoring of SLA KPIs and make sure the system(s) are running accordingly; define & execute appropriate actions plan based on application availability, performances and incidents
Participate in crisis activities, in close collaboration with IT Managers; contribute to an up-to-date crisis process for each solution or application
Contribute to a portfolio of innovative IT initiatives, proof of concepts and projects focused on Industrial Operation and Supply Chain
Participate in solutions deployment, data migration and IT service management
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory requirements and with internal recommendations and standards (quality, security, architecture, etc.)
Contribute to any audits if necessary
Work closely with internal / external subject matter experts
Share best practices between IT and business teams


Very good written and oral communication skills, ability to articulate ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences
General knowledge of Pharma industry (Good Manufacturing Practice, ..) and preferably S&OP logistic and market distribution
SAP knowledge - Master data, sales & distribution
Participation on IT-SCM projects (local / regional)
Analytical skills
Fluent in English (B2 and higher)
High school / University degree
